About this product
A corn stripper takes fresh kernels off the cob in clean rows with one pass down the ear, without the scattered kernels and close calls that come with a chef’s knife.
It is especially handy in late summer when sweet corn is cheap and you want to cut a dozen ears for salsa, chowder or the freezer.

How to use the corn stripper
- Husk the corn and rinse the ears under running water. The FDA recommends washing produce before cutting. Read the FDA produce safety tips.
- Stand the cob upright in a wide bowl or on a cutting board.
- Place the stripper on top of the cob and pull it down firmly along the ear.
- Turn the cob and repeat until all the kernels are off, then scrape the cob for the sweet "milk".

How do I stop kernels flying everywhere?
Work inside a wide, shallow bowl or place the cob on a clean kitchen towel to catch the kernels.
Can I freeze fresh corn kernels?
Yes. Blanch the kernels briefly, cool them, dry them and freeze them flat in a bag.
Is it safe to use?
